About Chris

Based in New York City, Chris Hubbard is an artist working across mediums, with a primary focus on painting and ceramics. Her work layers painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculptural elements into compositions that are both deliberate and dynamic, inspired by bold color, observation, and a deep engagement with art history.

Art has always been part of Chris’s life, though it took time to fully claim it. After building a career in media and advertising, she found herself continually drawn back to her artistic practice. She finds inspiration in the world around her, from everyday moments to the artists and visual traditions that continue to shape her perspective.
